Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana
Masters of Architecture, University of Washington in Seattle
Kristin has always loved drawing floor plans. When she was younger, a friend of hers came across a summer camp called “Atelier” for high school students to attend on campus at the University of IL Champaign-Urbana campus. After those 2 weeks, she was determined to pursue Architecture. In her free time, she enjoys biking the Salt Creek Trail, and has really enjoyed delving into the worlds of Soccer, Ballet, and Gymnastics as her children’s passion for those sports grew. She loves watching Chicago Fire Soccer games, Salt Creek Ballet’s Performances, and the Women’s Gymnastics Competition on the University of Michigan campus. Kristin’s favorite piece of architecture is 154th Street Station in Tukwila, Washington which she worked on. Kristin has taken a less traditional route in Architecture, which resulted in an accumulation of experiences in multiple firms and cities and project types that just heightens her appreciation of all things in this field, and inspires her to keep learning and designing great solutions and beautiful spaces.
